How we measure

If we cannot prove it, we do not claim it

Every programme sets clear targets before it begins.

We track attendance, incomes, health and completion rates, and we commission independent evaluations to check our own numbers. In 2024, an external review confirmed that ninety-two per cent of Amka scholars complete secondary school, more than double the regional average.

Change, one family at a time

KEBBI STATE

Amina’s daughters

A borehole in the village ended the daily walk for water. Her two daughters became the first girls in their family to finish secondary school.

ENUGU STATE

Blessing’s shop

A grant and six weeks of training turned a roadside table into a proper shop. Blessing now employs two other women.

CROSS RIVER

Otu community

Parents and Amka rebuilt a collapsed school together. Three hundred children who had been out of class are learning again.

KWARA STATE

Samuel’s path

A scholarship carried Samuel from a village primary school to a place at university, where he is training to teach.

Accountability

Where your money goes

We publish our accounts in full every year and have them independently audited. The overwhelming majority of every gift reaches the community it was given for.
